FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas all-time leading tackler Tony
Bua will help start a new tradition at Razorback games this fall.
Bua has been named honorary captain of the Razorbacks and will be
on the field before Saturday's opener at Fayetteville against
Western Illinois.

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Punter Michael Pobodnik of the Wonder
Boys football team at Arkansas Tech is a member of yet another
All-American team. Pobodnik was named yesterday as a first-teamer
on the squad announced by D2Football.com. It's his fourth such
honor this summer.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. (AP) - Larry Carter, pitching coach for the
Northwest Arkansas Naturals, is the 2008 Mike Coolbaugh Texas
League Coach of the Year. The award is named for Mike Coolbaugh, a
Tulsa Drillers coach killed by a foul ball at an Arkansas Travelers
game in July 2007.

UNDATED (AP) - Arkadelphia golfer Ken Duke has put himself in
the picture for golf's most prestigious tournament, the Masters at
Augusta, Georgia. The Masters invites the top 30 money-winners on
the PGA Tour, and Duke is currently number 28 on that list.
